Model for Change
Rooted in our Proven Methods

Research-based & clinically successful
The majority of our students at Vantage Point are struggling with building long-term relationships; they have difficulty fitting in socially. Many of our students have diagnoses of Autism Spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, Nonverbal Learning Disorder, social deficit, etc. The focus of the program is on connecting with others, being present in the moment, and enhancing social skills. This leads to self-efficacy and enhanced relationship-building long term. The variety of environments in which our students are placed allows our therapists to to make accurate, ongoing assessments of their clinical needs throughout their enrollment.

An integral part of our program is giving your family the tools you need to support your child when they are ready to transition home.
Research-Based and Clinically Successful
As with all Aspiro programs, we offer individually tailored treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Nonverbal Learning Disorder, and Learning Disabilities. Vantage Point students may have a treatment plan that focuses more closely on social skills, self-advocacy, and active engagement in the task at hand. The result is self-efficacy, social engagement, meaningful relationship-building, and positive thought process. While the approach is customized based on the specific needs of the individual, our underlying model ensures that we adhere to clinical best practices in the mental health field. Our model provides a series of steps for growth and healing throughout our programs and beyond, easing out students back into the “real world.”
The emphasis that Vantage Point places on family involvement facilitates positive change in our students. They leave the short term program, and return to a support network that has been more clearly defined while they were in the wilderness.
